Cast Off Anime Figures
If you have a waifu, typically the most "satisfaction" you're going to get out of official media is a fan service episode. No company in their right mind would license their characters out for a hentai. Officially licensed products of non-adult cartoons would be pretty unthinkable in the west. However, on the anime side, officially licensed anime figures sometimes give a reward to those who are willing to work for it. I'm talking about cast off figures and call me a degenerate but I love them. To the uninitiated, anime figures sometimes have details underneath their clothing. Some figures allow you to take off the clothing easily, these are commonly just called "cast off" figures. Other figures require you to break the clothing off the figure to reveal what's underneath, these are called "forced cast off" figures. It's basically a lewd easter egg for those that know.
Now I know what you're thinking, why would a figure require you to physically break the clothing to fully appreciate it? Well it goes back to that licensing. The license owners of animes don't want to allow for the production of an 18+ hentai figure of their characters. So the industry has come up with a compromise, sell the figures fully clothed with "non-removable" pieces and those that want an 18+ figure can basically modify it themselves. Despite being "non-removable" seams are often made in the clothing so that those that want to remove it can do so without damaging their figure.
This basically means there are officially licensed nudes/lewds of non-hentai anime.
For "research" purposes I'm going to categorize these cast aways into 4 tiers:
[Tier 1] Non-intentional Cast Off Lewds: As the name suggests this their of wasn't meant to be cast off and is not full nudity. Many figures feature underwear underneath for those who basically want to check for detail on an up skirt. If the owner desires, they can get a permanent better look by casting off the clothing but the underwear is visible without modifying the figure. A good example of this is this Chika MFC item 946028 from Kaguya-sama, you can look up her dress or cast away the skirt.
Not all anime figures are "cast offs" obviously, you have to know what you're looking for. Anime figures I'd say average around $150 and permanently damaging your anime figure in the name of "research" is too noble for every man. Because of this, I suspect there are cast aways that have yet to be discovered. They're not always tagged on MFC either.
Welp there you have it, some people search for Easter eggs, I search for official cast offs. LMK if you know of other cast off from famous anime I should research.
